In January 2022, the European Network for Rural Development launches its new Thematic Group on Rural Proofing. Our team member Barbara Wieliczko (also professor at the Institute of Rural and Agricultural Development of the Polish Academy of Sciences) has been selected as member of this thematic group. During the meetings of the Thematic Group on Rural Proofing, its members will share their experience and work on developing recommendations for policymakers that can guide the design and implementation of rural proofing mechanisms within Member States at different administrative levels.

Barbara will share the experience and knowledge stemming from ERDN activities as well as two Horizon 2020 projects, ERDN is currently involved in implementing – SHERPA and PoliRural.
