Inclusive development of rural areas is aimed at achievement and maintaining balanced economic and social conditions for the rural population. Such conditions should be available regardless of location, size of settlements, or the social group to which they belong. Ensuring relatively equal access to resources, products, services and other goods is crucial to maintaining the development of rural areas and their population. The conference, therefore, is devoted to the identification and understanding of typical characteristics and trends in the development of rural areas of selected Central and Eastern European countries, allowing detection of the differences in the levels of their inclusive development and review particular policies influencing the implementation of such approaches.
Presentations will be given by researchers and ERDN colleagues from Lithuania (dr Zivile Gedminaite-Raudone, dr Rita Lankauskiene), Moldova (dr Eugenia Lucasenco), Poland (Łukasz Komorowski, prof. Monika Stanny), Romania (dr Monica Tudor) and Ukraine (dr Oksana Rykovska, dr Viktor Yarovyi, dr Oleksii Fraier). Conference moderator – dr Vitaliy Krupin (IRWiR PAN).
